Our Mission
Access Period’s mission is to provide immediate relief to those experiencing period product insecurity, while building systems and relationships that ensure all people have access to the products they need to fully participate in life.
We envision a future where menstruation is no longer a barrier to participate in work, education, or life, and periods are free of stigma and shame.

Non-Discrimination Policy
Access Period is committed to serving all people who are in need of menstrual products in Nebraska.
We believe that no person should be excluded from services on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status, or for any other discriminatory reason. Accordingly, we will not knowingly partner with organizations that engage in discriminatory practices.
Access Period is not aligned with any religious belief. We invite faith-based organizations to participate in our volunteer and distribution programs so long as they fulfill a strictly charitable purpose. Access Period will not knowingly provide resources to any organization whose purpose is to use that support for the purpose of religious proselytizing.
Access Period does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These include, but are not limited to, the appointment to and termination from its Board of Directors, hiring and firing of staff or contractors, selection of volunteers, selection of vendors, and providing of services.
